Publication: 'Mensa magazine' Monthly magazine - October 2003 (circulation 28,000) Summary: Photo-feature on the Frankenstein school in Eberstadt near Frankenstein's castle in the German Odenwald mountain range which was visited by Mary Shelly and used as the setting for her fictional ‘Frankenstein’ book in 1818. The book inspired dozens of horror movies and made the name famous worldwide, but in Eberstadt the name has existed for centuries and is not thought unusual.
